Parley Palace
One of the most important and touristic points in the city, located on the Spiree Hill, is the Romanian Parley Palace. With a surface of 340.000 sqm, it is the highest civil administrative building of the world and the second with more extension of the world, after the Pentagon. You can visit the interior of the Parley with guided tours, without a doubt, the best you can do is to go up to the terrace and enjoy amazing views.
Romanian Patriarchal Cathedral
You cannot miss the Romanian Patriarchal Cathedral, a wonderful example of brâncovenesc architectonical style and an important devotion place with a magnificent collection of religious art. Here, you can also look the great variety of frescos of byzantine art. The Romanian Patriarchal Cathedral is open daily and the entrance is free.
Stavropoleos Monastery
It is an orthodox monastery for nuns located in the historic centre of Bucharest, a small temple with a special character. The church is covered by colourful murals, inside you can stare at the frescos and the elegant decorative elements conforming a beautiful collection of byzantine and religious art. Its centric location makes it easy to arrive with no need to travel.
Unirii Square
One of the most centric squares in the city and one of the meeting points of the city, is also known as National Square. This square is also one of the transport junctions of Bucharest. At one side of the square you can find one of the biggest malls of the city, Unirea Shopping Centre. In additional to its transport importance, is also a special touristic point.
